About the Role Senior Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings required for a major commercial office fit-out project in the City of London. The Senior Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings will lead delivery of an integrated intelligent buildings package covering BMS, EMS and smart systems integration across a high-spec commercial environment. The Senior Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings will take ownership from preconstruction through installation, commissioning and final handover. The Senior Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings role will suit someone with strong experience delivering technically led BMS and smart systems projects within fast-paced fit-out environments. The project includes: * Building Management Systems * Energy Management Systems * Smart building integration and analytics * Tridium platform integration * ABB Cylon FCU terminal controls * HVAC controls and intelligent building functionality Key responsibilities include: * Managing project delivery from preconstruction to completion * Coordinating installation, commissioning and handover activities * Leading planners, engineers, software teams, commissioning teams and subcontractors * Managing programme delivery and short-term look-ahead planning * Maintaining project quality, compliance and health & safety standards * Supporting commercial management alongside the Quantity Surveyor * Managing client coordination and stakeholder communication * Overseeing integrated testing and commissioning processes * Driving project progress against demanding programme deadlines * Managing live coordination with multiple trades on site * Ensuring successful QA, witnessing and handover procedures The successful candidate will ideally have: * Strong BMS project delivery experience * Previous experience on commercial fit-out projects * Good technical understanding of smart buildings and EMS integration * Experience managing commissioning-heavy projects * Strong programme and coordination skills * Commercial awareness and contractual understanding * Experience using MS Project or Asta Powerproject * Confident leadership and communication skills Summary This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a respected engineering contractor delivering complex intelligent buildings projects in London.
