Security Systems Designer Chippenham | Hybrid / On-Site | £40,000 – £55,000 DOE + Package Are you an experienced Security Systems Designer looking to join a growing business with exciting projects, genuine progression and long-term stability? I’m currently recruiting for a well-established and rapidly growing electronic security integrator delivering high-quality projects across commercial, industrial and public sector environments. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now looking to add a Security Systems Designer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who enjoys technically detailed work, working closely with projects and clients, and being part of a business where your input genuinely matters. The Role You’ll be responsible for designing and developing electronic security systems from initial survey through to technical handover, working across a variety of projects involving: • CCTV Systems • Access Control • Intruder Alarms • Integrated Security Platforms You’ll work closely with sales teams, project managers, engineers and clients to ensure all designs are technically compliant, commercially viable and delivered to a high standard. Key Responsibilities • Carrying out site surveys and technical assessments • Producing CAD drawings, schematics and system designs • Preparing technical submissions, bills of materials and documentation • Attending client meetings and technical design reviews • Supporting installation and project teams throughout delivery • Ensuring all designs comply with relevant British Standards • Managing and maintaining accurate design documentation • Assisting with technical queries across live projects What They’re Looking For • Previous experience designing electronic security systems • Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems • Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software • Understanding of industry standards including PD6662 and BS EN standards • Strong communication and organisational skills • Full UK driving licence Desirable Experience • Revit, NavisWorks or BIM experience • NSI or SSAIB knowledge • Experience within commercial or public sector projects • Project management exposure or qualifications Package • £40,000 – £55,000 basic salary DOE • Hybrid / flexible working • Company vehicle or car allowance • Laptop and iPhone provided • Up to 25 days holiday + bank holidays • Pension scheme • Ongoing training and development • Strong progression opportunities • Supportive and growing team environment • Long-term project pipeline and job security This is a fantastic opportunity for a Security Systems Designer looking to join a business that is continuing to grow, invest in its people and work on high-quality projects across the UK.
