Key Responsibilities: ·Prepare vehicles and panels for painting through sanding, masking, filling, and priming ·Carry out polishing, finishing, and rectification work to achieve a flawless finish ·Assist with paint preparation and application where required ·Inspect completed work to ensure exceptional quality standards are achieved ·Work closely with Paint Sprayers, Panel Technicians, and MET Technicians throughout the repair process ·Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment ·Follow manufacturer repair methods and company quality procedures ·Complete all work efficiently while meeting agreed repair deadlines ABOUT YOU We're looking for a reliable, hardworking, and quality-focused technician who takes pride in producing outstanding vehicle finishes. ·Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper, Painter, Polisher, or within an automotive bodyshop environment ·Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation, polishing, and paint finishing techniques ·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship ·Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team ·Understanding of health and safety procedures within a bodyshop environment ·Positive attitude with a strong work ethic ·Full UK Driving Licence beneficial but not essential ·ATA Accreditation advantageous but not essential Alternative Job Titles: Vehicle Prepper / Prep Technician / Paint Prepper / Vehicle Polisher / SMART Repair Technician / Paint Assistant / Automotive Prepper / Bodyshop Prepper / Vehicle Finisher APPLY TODAY This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that values its employees, offers genuine career progression, and provides long-term stability.
