This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of industrial automation projects involving Siemens PLCs, HMIs, drives and control systems across manufacturing and industrial environments. The business is open to speaking with: Early career Controls Engineers Junior Automation Engineers Mid-level Controls Engineers Experienced Senior Control Systems Engineers Full-time and part-time applications are both welcomed.The Role As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be involved in: PLC programming and software development Siemens HMI design and configuration Siemens drive/VFD configuration Control system testing and fault finding Automation project delivery Commissioning and customer support activities Supporting industrial automation and control system projects from concept through to completion This role will involve a mixture of office-based engineering work alongside occasional customer site visits.Key Skills & Experience Essential: Previous experience within a Control Systems Engineer, Controls Engineer, PLC Engineer or Automation Engineer role Siemens PLC programming experience Experience using Siemens TIA Portal Experience with: Ladder Logic Structured Text Function Block Design (FBD) Experience with industrial automation systems Fault finding and troubleshooting experienceHighly Desirable: Siemens ET200SP experience Siemens S7-1200 / S7-1500 experience Siemens Unified Comfort HMI experience Siemens G120C drive experience Commissioning experience Industrial instrumentation exposure SCADA experience JAVA exposureTechnologies Used Siemens ET200SP Safety PLCs Siemens S7-1200 / S7-1500 Siemens Unified Comfort HMIs Siemens G120C drives Siemens TIA Portal V19+Exposure to additional automation products would also be beneficial, including: Allen Bradley Schneider Electric Eurotherm Wago WeidmüllerWhat's On Offer?
