Senior Corporate Private Equity Associate (5+ Years' PQE)Location: London, United KingdomThe OpportunityA leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Private Equity Associate to join its highly regarded London Corporate team.This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious lawyer with 5+ years' post-qualification experience to work on some of the market's most significant private equity transactions, advising leading global private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, institutional investors and management teams on complex, high-value domestic and cross-border deals.The successful candidate will join a collaborative, high-performing team recognised for advising on sophisticated acquisitions, disposals, buyouts, growth investments, recapitalisations and strategic corporate transactions across a broad range of sectors. The role offers significant client exposure, responsibility from day one and a genuine platform for long-term career progression within one of the world's premier corporate practices.The RoleYou will advise on a broad range of private equity and corporate matters, including:UK and cross-border private equity acquisitions and disposals.Leveraged buyouts, management buyouts and growth capital investments.Portfolio company acquisitions, bolt-on transactions and exits.Auction sale processes and competitive bid transactions.Management equity incentive arrangements.Joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and corporate restructurings.General corporate advisory matters for sponsor-backed businesses and institutional clients.Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, you will take a lead role in transaction management, client relationships and mentoring junior associates while helping to drive matters through to successful completion.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 5 years' PQE gained within a leading City, international or highly regarded corporate practice.Significant experience advising on private equity transactions and M&A.Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.Experience leading workstreams and managing junior lawyers.Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused advice.Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.What's on OfferThe opportunity to work on market-leading domestic and international private equity transactions.Exposure to an exceptional client base, including leading global private equity sponsors and multinational businesses.High levels of responsibility and direct client contact.Outstanding training, mentoring and structured career development.A genuinely collaborative and inclusive team culture.Competitive remuneration and comprehensive benefits package.Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced private equity lawyer looking to further develop their career within a top-tier international corporate practice renowned for delivering cutting-edge transactional work.Senior Corporate Private Equity Associate (5+ Years' PQE)Location: London, United Kingdom
