Vehicle Mechanic

The Automotive Maintenance division of Questech currently have an exciting new position, located in Wakefield. This is an opportunity to work on a mixed fleet of light vehicles. This is an ongoing temporary contract with the option of a permanent contract for the right individuals. THE ROLE: You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified Vehicle Mechanic and have experience working with a variety of light vehicles / Vans. You will also be given the opportunity to train on specialist public sector vehicles and NHS vehicles. THE DUTIES: * Carrying out service, maintenance and repair of a mixed fleet of light commercial vehicles * Diagnosing faults. * Pre MOT Inspections THE HOURS: Hours of work are 4 on 4 off 7.00am-5.00pm THE RATE OF PAY: The pay rate is £26.00 - £28.00 per hour dependant on experience. Training and Qualifications: You should ideally be qualified to one NVQ level 3 You should ideally hold the following license: * Full UK driving licence This is an ongoing winter contract running from early October through to March / April.
