The Procurement Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting procurement operations within the transport & distribution industry. This role is based in Luton and requires a detail-oriented individual to manage data, reporting, and contract oversight effectively. Description Support procurement processes by managing data and reporting requirements. Oversee contract performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms. Prepare and maintain detailed procurement reports and analysis. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement operations. Assist in the evaluation of suppliers and service providers. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procurement activities. Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies.Profile A successful Procurement Officer should have: Strong analytical and data management skills. Experience in procurement or supply chain processes. Knowledge of contract management and compliance. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for reporting and analysis. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
