This role is built the other way round.You will lead the structural design on a varied book of London projects, taking the technical decisions that set the direction rather than just working them through. Concept, scheme, detail, and the awkward problems in between are yours to own, with the backing of a practice that wants senior engineers thinking, not just producing.The business is a growing London civil and structural consultancy working across residential, commercial, and mixed use schemes. It is at the size where your influence is felt directly: the way you approach a design becomes the way the team approaches it. That is rare, and it is the whole point of the role.You are likely a senior engineer who is technically strong but quietly frustrated. The decisions you are ready to make still get made above you, and the projects you want are handed out on seniority rather than capability. Here the work follows the engineer who can do it, and that is you.You will have a direct line to the people running the practice and a real say in how it grows.
