Vehicle & Weighing Operations * Assist with weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles (deliveries and collections) * Accurately record gross, tare, and net weights * Verify vehicle and load details (registration, company, material type) * Issue and file weighbridge tickets correctly * Direct drivers to appropriate loading/unloading areas Administration & Record Keeping * Input weight data into weighbridge systems (e.g. ScrapIT, Weighsoft, or internal software) * File delivery notes, transfer notes, and purchase documentation * Match weighbridge tickets to invoices * Maintain daily weighbridge logs * Support end-of-day reporting and reconciliations Compliance & Documentation * Check Waste Transfer Notes (WTNs) and Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes * Verify supplier and customer details for accuracy * Ensure materials match declared descriptions * Support environmental compliance and audit readiness * Report discrepancies such as contamination or incorrect grading Yard & Operational Support * Communicate with crane operators, banksmen, and yard supervisors * Coordinate vehicle flow to reduce congestion and delays * Monitor site traffic and ensure safe vehicle movement * Report unsafe practices or non-compliance issues
