HVAP Data Centre Shift Technician Critical Environment Docklands, London Your new employer is one of the worlds leading facilities management providers, operating across multiple countries and delivering critical services within high-profile environments. They are now looking to hire an experienced HVAP Data Centre Shift Technician to join their team in the Docklands.

This is a great opportunity to work within a live, critical data centre environment, taking responsibility for high voltage systems, planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring all operations are delivered safely and in line with site procedures.
What you'll be doing:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across critical electrical and mechanical systems
Operating as HV Authorised Person, including switching, isolations, and load transfers
Responding to BMS alarms and faults, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated quickly
Managing permit-to-work systems and ensuring all safety documentation is completed correctly
Producing switching schedules and ensuring all works follow safe systems of work
Supervising subcontractors and ensuring work is completed to site standards
Maintaining accurate records through CAFM systems and completing detailed shift handovers
Supporting incident response and fault resolution within a critical environment
Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and client procedures
What you'll get in return:
£52,000 £55,000 per annum
12-hour continental shifts (days and nights)
20 days annual leave (no bank holidays)
Long-term, stable contract within a critical environment
Ongoing training and development
Company pension and benefits package
The Person:
HV xwzovoh Authorised Person (essential)
Level 3 qualification in Electrical or relevant discipline
Experience within a data centre or critical environment
Strong understanding of BMS, electrical systems, and plant maintenance
Able to work independently and within a shift team
Good communication skills and professional approach
PASMA / IPAF desirable
Ex-forces candidates with relevant electrical or technical experience are encouraged to apply
