Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer (Robotics/ Automation) job in Norfolk:
Develop and maintain software for robotic systems and automated test equipment
Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimise manufacturing processes
Evaluate new and existing production lines to identify improvements to manufacturing processes, analytical requirements, and equipment; advise appropriate engineering personnel on manufacturability, process robustness, and equipment requirements
Ensure the smooth transition of new products into manufacturing (NPI)
Document software architecture, code, and system configurations
Key skills and experience required for the Manufacturing Engineer (Robotics/ Automation) job:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / HND / Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related industry qualification
Experience in production engineering
Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering relating to Electronics, Software, and Automation
Familiarity xwzovoh with PLC programming and SCADA systems
