Biogas Site Operator

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with the largest producer of renewable energy from food waste in England and Wales. The company own and operate a portfolio of anaerobic digestion plants. They are looking to recruit a Dual Site Operative to support across two sites near Oxford. The Site Operative plays a vital part in ensuring the site is run correctly and high standards of health & safety are maintained. The role comes with a salary of up to £34,108 + overtime, callout payments and excellent benefits package If you have a background working in anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environment and are looking to work for an organisation that is passionate about renewable energy, then upload your CV to today Responsibilities and duties of the Biogas Site Operator role Reporting to the Plant Manager you will: Support with the day to day running of two anaerobic digestion plants Carrying out basic first line maintenance, such as isolating and changing pumps Operating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovel Take part in the on-call rota Monitoring the pant via the SCADA Keeping the site clean and tidy Maintaining high levels of health & safety Other duties as required Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Telehandler/Loading Shovel/Tractor Licence or in-house training is essential Engineering qualification/certificate is desired Full UK Driving Licence Personal skills The Biogas Site Operator role would suit someone who is: Previous operator experience in a similar processing environment Mobile plant experience First line maintenance experience Agricultural experience is highly desired Great work ethic Salary and benefits of the Biogas Site Operator role Basic salary of up to £34,108 Overtime and callout payments Bonus Holiday pay Other benefits discussed at interview #LI-AR1 INDREN Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
