Our client is a Berkshire based curtain and blind design studio specialising in delivering innovative and luxurious window dressing projects with a keen eye for detail. They work with private clients and interior designers across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Oxford and London. For all clients they ensure that every design is individually tailored to deliver beautiful and creative window dressing. The Role This is a genuinely two-part job, and that's what makes it dynamic and never dull! In the Studio • Quality-checking every order before it leaves the studio • Dressing, steaming and ironing curtains and blinds to perfection • Preparing and packing for installation days • Working alongside the team on production days Out on the Road • Installing curtain tracks, poles, blinds and curtains at client properties • Representing the business in clients homes • Solving the small problems that come up on every installation • Building confidence and expertise with every job You'll start with full training from their experienced contractor, who will work alongside you until you're confident and capable on your own. No prior fitting experience is needed — but you do need to be comfortable using power tools and happy driving to client sites independently. Essential Requirements • Full UK driving licence • Comfortable and confident using power tools (drills, fixings, levels) • Happy working independently and managing your own time on the road • A genuine eye for detail and care over the finished result • Physically able to lift, carry and work at height on ladders or steps Who We're Looking For You don't need a background in soft furnishings.
