This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and purpose-driven environment, delivering high-quality legal advice while contributing to the growth of a respected family law practiceThe RoleYou'll manage a caseload of legal aid and privately funded matters, advising clients on sensitive and complex issues with care and commercial awareness. You'll also play an active role in business development, helping to grow the team's profile and client base through networking, marketing, and sector engagement.Key responsibilities include:Managing a caseload of private law children and domestic abuse mattersAdvising clients on options, outcomes, risks, and timescalesScoping fees and managing budgets for client mattersSupporting junior lawyers with technical and business guidanceBuilding internal and external networks of clients and intermediariesAttending networking events and contributing to marketing initiativesDeveloping niche or sector expertiseParticipating in team pitches and collaborative projectsTracking progress against KPIs and contributing to risk managementCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a qualified solicitor or legal executive with:5+ years PQE in family law, with experience in private law children and domestic abuseStrong client management and communication skillsAbility to manage own files and delegate effectivelyCommercial awareness and a proactive approach to riskDesire to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team developmentInterest in building a personal and departmental profileWorking ArrangementsThe firm supports hybrid working across all roles.
