Site Engineer - Doncaster

Site Engineer Location: Doncaster About the Role We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our service team in Doncaster, responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll be a key technical representative on site, ensuring equipment reliability and excellent service delivery. You'll also support the Area Service Manager, acting as a first point of contact for defined support activities within the service team and helping to maintain strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventative maintenance on materials handling and ancillary equipment Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely Accurately complete service reports and timesheets Manage and control parts stock on site Build effective customer relationships through clear communication, ensuring expectations are met in line with contractual agreements Liaise closely with the After Sales Office to provide customers with accurate repair updates and ETAs Identify and communicate chargeable follow‑up work, completing it in a timely manner Ensure all company and customer health & safety procedures are strictly followed Identify and pass on sales leads for Jungheinrich equipment and After Sales products Act as a Company Ambassador at all times You may occasionally be required to participate in call-out duties and work outside normal hours, as directed by the Area Service Manager. About You We're keen to hear from mechanically and/or electrically biased engineers from a wide range of maintenance or service backgrounds, including: Automotive Technicians HGV Engineers Mobile Plant Engineers Forklift Engineers Ex-Forces / Military Vehicle Engineers You will also have: A full UK driving licence A good general level of education Experience in a customer-facing role The ability to work independently and unsupervised A proactive, professional approach with strong problem-solving skillsGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
