Site Manager Housing

Orchard Recruitment Solutions are working alongside a national house builder to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential housing development in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join an established contractor on a long-term residential development, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the site. The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development from a site management perspective, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: * Managing the day-to-day running of the development * Coordinating subcontractors and site labour * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained * Managing programmes and ensuring works remain on schedule * Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks * Liaising with the client, subcontractors and other site management * Managing materials, deliveries and site logistics * Ensuring plots are delivered to the required quality standards * Maintaining accurate site records and documentation * Driving the project forward and ensuring key deadlines are achieved Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have: * Previous experience as a Site Manager within new build housing * Strong knowledge of residential construction * Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades * SMSTS * CSCS * First Aid If you are interested in this role, please apply online with an up to date version of your CV
