Job Descriptionhackajob is collaborating with Colt Technology Services to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.\ NColt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure.\ NShort Description\ NFunction: Finance (CFO)\ NReports to: VP Group Finance\ NLocation: Colt House, Shoreditch, London \ NSet up: Hybrid\ NWhat you will do\n\ NOversight and coordination of the month-end / quarter-end financial close process, including reporting requirements to shareholders.\ NDelivering the Group’s IFRS Consolidated Annual Report.\ NDelivering the Group’s Subsidiary accounts (Local GAAP) meeting local compliance requirements.\ NLeading the Group and local audit processes; ensuring efficiently managed to required timescales.\ NTechnical accountingguidance/support under IFRS, drafting/reviewing papers on large and/or complex arrangements\ NDrafting Audit Committee papers & board level materials\ NDriving finance transformation and efficiencies; ways of working, reporting and system improvements & utilising Automation and AI\ NLeading and developing a high performing team\ NDriving improvementsin the controls & governance framework\ NOwning accounting policies, spend policies and wider-finance policies\ NOwning CSRD / UK SRSreporting requirements (when & where applicable) & supporting broader sustainability reporting requirements \ NProviding assistanceto country, divisional, and shared service centre finance teams, as well as Group tax in a multi-national environment\ NUndertake other tasks and commercial analysis covering all aspects of Group Finance, including project-related work\ N\nWhat we're looking for\ NTypical tasks and responsibilities will include:\ N\nQualified Accountant with 10 years + experience\ NWorking at Director level in practice or within an international / high-performing Group Finance team\ NTechnically strong with up to date IFRS knowledge (US GAAP desirable)\ NIdeally Big-4 qualified accountant\ NAnalytical background with a solutions-based approach to work\ NConfident and motivated individual who can work using their own initiative\ NAbility to work withExcel, PPT, ERP tools\ NExperience of effectively and confidently communicating at all levels across an organisation up to Senior Stakeholders\ NExperience with M&A activity, integration and/or systems transformation highly desirable. \ N\nWhat we offer you:\ NLooking to make a mark?\ NAt Colt, you’ll make a difference.
