Sales Engineer

Your classic Area Sales Engineer role! Here you'll take an existing, under-performing territory, and develop it further with new business and your effective account management. Home based role covering Northern England and Scotland, you'll have experience of selling technical consumables, components or engineered solutions into OEM's, manufacturing or industrial customers directly or via distributors.   BASIC SALARY: Up to £50,000 dependant on your relevant experience   BENEFITS: · Company car · 6% company pension · Target related bonus up to 1 months salary, paid annually · Accelerator bonus for high performers   LOCATION: Leeds   COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Preston, Burnley, Bradford, Newcastle, Hull, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Preston, Sheffield, Blackpool, Bolton, York, Gateshead   JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager - Technical Consumables, Fasteners, Industrial   We don't mind where you live, as you know you'll need to travel. We'd expect you to be out 3 days a week, meeting existing spending customers and travelling to prospective ones too.   You can build your pipeline as you see fit.   YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager - Technical Consumables, Fasteners, Industrial   As our Sales Engineer, you will : · Develop our Northern England territory to include Scotland within our industrial technologies division · Account manage and develop new business with OEM's and distributors · Identify your own leads and opportunities and follow up on inbound and marketing leads · Utilising our CRM, you'll accurately forecast and manage your sales pipeline and produce your own quotations · You will collaborate effectively with the internal sales team, marketing, technical and operations   YOUR BACKGROUND: Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager - Technical Consumables, Fasteners, Industrial   Ideally, you will have : · Proven background of selling technical consumables into OEM's or manufacturers - directly or via industrial distributors · Be able to demonstrate where you have developed new business and existing accounts · Comfortable delivering product demonstrations face to face, technical training your customer and you'll attend regular exhibitions and trade shows too   THE COMPANY:   We are a leading manufacturer of technical consumables including fasteners to a variety of industrial sectors.   PROSPECTS:   There will be genuine opportunities for you to develop and progress.   It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services:  Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager - technical consumables, fasteners, screws, washers, nuts, bolts, pins, rivets, studs, nails, latch, clamp, clasp, adhesives, sealants, lubricants, chemicals.   INTERESTED?
