Account Manager required in Portsmouth

Salary: 34,000 - 38,000 + Bonus'

My client is looking for an experienced Account Manager ready to broaden their impact to join their growing team. You will take ownership of customer relationships, account reporting, governance, presentations and business-unit planning for a major strategic customer, while an established Account Manager focuses on operational execution.

You will be the primary relationship owner across the customer business unit, working with site-level stakeholders through to Head of Supply Chain level. Senior leadership will remain available to support executive, group-level and significant commercial engagement.

Your role is to connect customer priorities with our operational and commercial capability. You will create the rhythm around the account: clear reporting, purposeful governance, confident presentations, coordinated actions and a forward-looking business-unit plan.

Essential experience
⦁ Proven account management experience in a complex B2B environment.
⦁ Experience building relationships across multiple customer functions and levels.
⦁ Confidence creating and delivering customer presentations and business reviews.
⦁ Ability to interpret performance and commercial data and turn it into clear actions.
⦁ Commercial awareness and experience identifying opportunities to protect and grow an account.
⦁ Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving actions to completion.
⦁ Strong written communication, planning and organisation.
