My client based near St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for a PCB Assembly Operative to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

£26,000 | Permanent | 39 hours per week | Own Transport Required
An excellent opportunity for a PCB Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team, assembling high-quality PCB and box-build products.
Key responsibilities
Assemble PCB and electronic components using hand and power tools
Carry out soldering, cropping, de-paneling and minor rework
Inspect components and finished assemblies to high-quality standards
Read drawings, job packs, parts lists and technical specifications
Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation
Work to production schedules and deadlines
Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow ESD, health & safety and QMS procedures
Support colleagues and assist with training where required
Identify quality and efficiency improvements
What we're looking for
Good knowledge of electronic components
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to work accurately to high-quality standards
Ability to xwzovoh read and understand technical information
Good organisational and communication skills
Computer literate
Reliable team player with a proactive approach
Previous PCB/electronics assembly experience would be advantageous
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:15pm, Friday 8:00am–2:00pm
Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
