Multi-skilled Shift Engineer Location: Whitechapel, London E1 Salary: Up to £55,000 + HVAP training Shift Pattern: Continental (Days & Nights) – 07:00–19:00 / 19:00-07:00 My client is a major FM company who are recruiting a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer to work on a prestigious contract in Whitechapel, managing M&E and critical building systems. . This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, technically capable maintenance engineer ready to step into a high-profile commercial site. The Role As Multi-skilled Shift Engineer, you will: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across landlord building services * Take ownership of electrical systems including LV & HV distribution, plant, and associated infrastructure * Supervise contractors and ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly * Respond to faults, incidents, and alarms within a critical environment * Maintain accurate records using site systems and permits to work About You We are looking for candidates who: * Hold electrical qualifications (Level 3 considered if technically strong) * Have solid experience working within commercial building services * Are confident fault-finding across electrical and wider M&E systems * Can lead by example on shift and take responsibility for site operations * Are professional, reliable, and safety-focused High Voltage experience is not essential — HV training will be provided after 3 months.
