We specialise in accident management, credit hire, and personal injury claims, handling motor accident cases involving cars, vans, motorbikes, and cycles.
We are seeking an experienced candidate with proven litigation expertise in accident management, credit hire, and personal injury claims.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the OIC Portal, the MOJ Portal, MIB rules, and CPR.
Management experience is essential, as this role includes leading a team of claim handlers.
Key Responsibilities As a Senior Claims Handler, you will oversee both new and existing claims, along with the following duties: Managing and supervising a team of claim handlers Reviewing evidence and assessing liability, quantum, and potential defences Identifying client needs and determining the most appropriate course of action Opening and managing cases on the Proclaim case management system Handling credit hire matters and liaising with hire companies when required Communicating with external parties (repairers, hire companies, police, witnesses, etc.) Providing clear updates and explaining legal documents to clients Assisting clients with completing required documentation Obtaining outstanding information and documentation from clients Drafting allegations and negotiating settlements Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in a similar role within a personal injury claims management company, credit hire organisation, or solicitors practice Strong background in dealing with clients, insurers, repairers, xwzovoh solicitors, engineers, and credit hire companies Essential knowledge of credit hire and personal injury claims Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general IT systems; strong typing skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to support clients in a friendly, professional manner both over the phone and in person Additional Information Start Date: ASAP Hours: MondayThursday: 9:00 am 5:30 pm Friday: 9:00 am 5:00 pm Location: 5 minutes walk from Pudding Mill Lane Station on the DLR Please note: No agencies
