Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Days and Nights Salary : £48,000 to £49,000 per annum overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 AND benefits Hours: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

2 shifts on days (7am to 7pm), 2 shifts on nights (7pm to 7am), then four off Location : Commutable from Howden, Hull, Selby, Goole, Doncaster, Brough, York, Market Weighton and surrounding areas Thisglobal heavy plant manufacturing company offer challenging and rewarding careers to their Maintenance Fitters & Engineers, with scope for further training and qualifications, together with development of skills and future progression.

It would suit a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a background in an industrial or manufacturing environment with ANY/SOME mechanical experience of bearings, shafts, belts, chains, motors, gears, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (MIG)

Responsibilities Your role will be to focus on Mechanical Maintenance in the factory, including: Maintenance of various equipment and machinery across their factory, dealing with and overcoming problems in a fast paced environment.

Working through a planned preventative maintenance program as well as project and continuous improvement work.

There is a lot of future planned projects involving upgrades and refurbs that all Engineers get a hand in doing.

Reactive maintenance, working at pace attending to and resolving breakdowns swiftly and getting production lines back up and running again.

Dealing with conveyors, belts, bearings, motors, gears, pumps, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.

Requirements Time served apprentice or mechanical engineering qualification Experience with mechanical maintenance or mechanical fitting work, within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment Machinery maintenance experience Any experience of belts, chains, bearings, pumps, motors, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics would be desirable Any MIG welding experience would be desirable Heavy plant/machinery experience would be great but not essential Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in Friendly and adaptable working attitude If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Jane at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
