Working Hours: Flexible 40 hours a week Our client, a leading and innovative engineering and manufacturing business within the automotive sector, is seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Key Account Manager to join their growing team.
This is a high-impact role responsible for managing strategic OEM and Tier 1 accounts while driving new business growth across the UK and beyond This position offers significant exposure across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial functions, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new key accounts in line with strategic objectives Generate leads, explore new markets, and track industry trends Provide market intelligence and customer insights to inform business decisions Develop and execute annual and long-term (35 year) key account strategies and growth plans Build detailed account plans, including competitor analysis and market positioning Lead customer strategy reviews and align business objectives with client expectations Manage quotations, pricing negotiations, and business acquisition activities Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives Manage change within projects, ensuring commercially viable and mutually beneficial outcomes Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across OEM and Tier 1 customers Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring excellent customer service and communication About You You are a confident and credible communicator, comfortable engaging at all levels and navigating complex customer environments.
You combine strong commercial awareness with a proactive, solution-focused mindset and a passion for delivering results.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in a Key Account Management, Sales, or Commercial role within automotive, engineering, or related sectors Experience within Automotive or NVH markets is essential. xwzovoh
Experience working with JLR is an advantage.
