Yard Operative

Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are recruiting for a Factory Operative on behalf of our client based in Studley, Calne.

Immediate Start Available Pay & Benefits: £12.30 per hour Monday
- Friday, 7.30am
- 1600pm Weekly pay 28 days paid annual leave Online payslips Pension contributions Ongoing support & opportunities for permanent work The Role: Operate sawmill machinery safely and efficiently Load, position, and secure timber onto cutting equipment Measure, mark, and cut timber to required sizes and specifications Monitor machine performance and report faults or defects Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning Sort, stack, and store cut timber correctly Inspect timber for defects, damage, or quality issues Follow health and safety procedures, including use of PPE Maintain a clean and organised work area Assist with manual handling and movement of materials Record production data and complete basic documentation Work collaboratively xwzovoh with supervisors and other operatives Requirements: Heavy lifting Involved Previous experience within an industrial role If you are interested in the role please submit an up to date CV, or alternatively give the office a call on and one of the team will be happy to help!
