ComplexBuildingAssessor&ValidatorAbouttheroleThisisafantasticopportunitytoworkwithinTheFireSafetyTeamwithinEngineeringandComplianceundertheHousingDirectorate,Whoarelookingtorecruithighlyexperiencedfireriskassessorstojoinourin-houseteamoffiresafetyprofessionalstocarryoutType1fireriskassessmentsonresidentialpropertiesdeliveringfireclassservicestoourresidents.Flexibilityisprovidedtomanageyourdiary/workloadwithcloseliaisonoftheappointedFireSafetyCo-Ordinator.Contributeto a)MonitoringofexistinglegacyportfolioasregardsFRAs; b)Procedurestofacilitatethemanagementcontroloffirerisks.

c)BeaTeamplayerandhavegoodcommunicationskillsthroughoutd)ThetechnicalcompetenceoftheFireSafetyTeam(FST)AbouttheteamTheteamcomprisesofexperiencedFireRiskAssessorsandFireSafetyCo-Ordinators.Youwillbejoiningadedicatedteamthatcollaborateswiththewiderorganisationtoensurethesafetyofboththeorganisationanditsresidents,minimizingtheriskoffirehazards.ReportingtotheFireSafetyManager,youwillworkalongsidetheFireRiskAssessorsandFireSafetyCo-Ordinators,contributingtoacomprehensiveapproachtofiresafetyandriskmanagementwithintheCouncil.AboutthecandidateTobesuccessfulinapplyingforthisrole,thecandidatemusthaveexperience 1.Inconductingfireriskassessmentsforvariousresidentialproperties, 2.MemberofarelevantprofessionalbodysuchasIFE,IFSM,orCABE, 3.HaveseveralyearsofdemonstrableresidentialFRAexperienceAndpossessextensiveknowledgeofthe i.RegulatoryReformFireSafetyOrder, ii.ApprovedDocumentB,andComplexBuildingAssessor&Validator iii.BritishStandards.Additionally,asolidunderstandingofdifferentconstructionmethodsandtheapplicationofbothactiveandpassivefiresafetymeasuresisessential. xwzovoh Theroleisdeemedhybrid,withamandatorySINGLEofficeday-postinitialinduction.Worklocation:SouthwarkCouncil,160TooleyStreet,LondonSE12HQHoursperweek:36perweekComplexBuildingAssessor&Validator
