The Role The Mechanical Engineer will work with customers to understand requirements, and will design lightweight, robust, low-cost, stowage-efficient mechanisms, to support structures deployment and operations in Space, undertaking all aspects of mechanical engineering surrounding the design, development and production, but with a focus on structural analysis.

A good understanding of structural and/or thermal analysis, coupled with FE modelling Experience with software packages for structural analysis, thermal analysis and mathematical modelling, such as FEMAP, NASTRAN, ADAMS, Matlab, etc.
