About the role
Location: Somerset Duration: 20 weeks SEND Inclusion Lead (Children / Early Years) Key Responsibilities Case Management : Lead on individual learner cases, coordinating multi-agency support and ensuring timely interventions for those at risk of exclusion, disengagement.

Pathway Planning : Develop personalised education and progression plans that reflect each learner's strengths, interests, and aspirations Alternative Provision Oversight : Coordinate high-quality alternative education placements for students who cannot access mainstream settings, ensuring they are purposeful and lead to recognised outcomes.
Multi-Agency Working : Attend and contribute to Team Around the Child (TAC) meetings, PEP reviews, and safeguarding discussions to ensure education remains central to planning.
Attendance and Engagement Monitoring : Track attendance, progress, and wellbeing, intervening early to prevent drop-out or disengagement. xwzovoh
Student Voice and Empowerment : Ensure young people are actively involved in decisions about their education and future, promoting confidence and self-advocacy.
Skills and Attributes Strong understanding of Children looked after and or Early years Knowledge of SEND, safeguarding, and statutory responsibilities Excellent communication, coordination, and case management skills Commitment to inclusive education and lifelong learning
