This contractor is known for engineering excellence, long-term career development, and delivering high-value hyperscale campuses across the UK and EU.This is a senior-level role with influence across design, delivery, coordination, quality and commissioning.Role OverviewLead mechanical engineering delivery across major mechanical packagesDrive design review, technical submittals, RFI management & design validationManage daily coordination between engineering, installation and commissioning teamsOversee subcontractor performance, installation quality and programme adherenceWork with BIM, QA/QC and commissioning to align quality and handover requirementsProvide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and supporting project strategyInterface with the client, consultant teams and internal leadershipSupport project governance, weekly reporting, risk/issue tracking and milestone planningWhat You Bring6–10+ years mechanical engineering/project engineering experienceExposure to mission-critical, data centre, pharma or complex MEP buildsStrong understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, plant & pipework systemsAbility to manage large mechanical packages from design through commissioningLeadership, communication and stakeholder management strengthsStrong documentation, technical reporting and problem-solving ability
