The Role
- As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students with special educational needs across Key Stages 3 and 4 Provide tailored 1:1 and small group interventions Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment Help students develop confidence, independence, and social skills Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to support student progress The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs Ideal for Psychology graduates, aspiring Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Counsellors, or those considering a career in teaching or SEND support Graduates with relevant experience supporting young people are encouraged to apply If youre ready to take the next step in your education career in Epping, apply with your updated CV today.
