Full time40k-50kThu, 10 Sep 2026 "> published - Thu, 10 Sep 2026Job DescriptionAbout The Team You'll Be Working in The Culture and Events Team plays a strategic role in delivering Hounslow's cultural ambitions and ensuring culture contributes to stronger communities, placemaking, wellbeing and economic growth across the borough.We work closely with colleagues, artists, cultural organisations, community groups, businesses and funding bodies to deliver programmes and initiatives that increase participation in arts, heritage and culture. Our work includes the delivery of the Culture Strategy, Summer of Culture and a range of cultural projects and partnerships that celebrate Hounslow's creativity and diversity.As Culture Officer, you'll report to the Culture Manager and work closely with colleagues across the Council, including Communications, Economic Regeneration and Community Services teams, as well as a wide range of external cultural organisations, artists and community stakeholders to support the delivery of the borough's cultural priorities.Job RequirementsAbout You If the points below resonate with you, we'd love you to put in an application: You have an understanding of the arts, culture or creative industries and are interested in the role culture can play in strengthening communities and places. Working with residents, artists, cultural organisations, businesses and community stakeholders, you'll help create cultural opportunities that are inclusive, accessible and reflective of Hounslow's diverse communities. You'll lead and support a range of cultural projects, including Summer of Culture, managing programmes from planning and commissioning through to delivery, evaluation and legacy. You'll also use communications, marketing, digital engagement and audience development approaches to increase participation and raise awareness of Hounslow's cultural offer.
