Are you organised, practical and passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs?
We are seeking a positive and flexible Food Technician to support our Food Studies curriculum across Key Stages 3–5. The role involves preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons, maintaining a safe and organised learning environment, supporting students during cooking activities and contributing to the smooth running of the department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in catering, food preparation or education support who enjoys working as part of a team and building positive relationships with young people. Experience of working with students with SEND would be advantageous, although training and support will be provided.
“Staff are proud to work at the school. They say that leaders consider their well-being and that they have the support and training they need to do their job.” (Ofsted 2024)
We provide all of our staff with a comprehensive training programme, including trauma-informed crisis prevention training (CPI). We understand the demands of working in a special school and provide all staff with 30 minutes Administration & Development time each day. Staff also benefit from a supportive team environment and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.

Earlsfield is well served by public transport with easy access to the city centre.
