About the Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children's learning, confidence and progress in Nursery and Reception. You will provide individual and group support to help children develop their communication, early literacy and numeracy, social skills and independence through play-based and adult-led activities. You will also assist in planning, preparation and resource management to ensure the classroom runs smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support children individually or in small groups to access the EYFS curriculum and achieve their learning goals
- Promote independence, confidence and engagement through play-based learning
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development, including routines such as snack time, toileting and getting changed
