Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst Location: Harlow, Essex Salary/Benefits: £26k - £31k + Training & Benefits A UKAS accredited Asbestos Laboratory is seeking an experienced Analyst to join their team. They are seeking someone with a methodical approach to their work, who can prioritise their workload to ensure deadlines are met. As a minimum, candidates will hold the BOHS P401, but additional modules would be advantageous. You will be joining a well-known name company within the industry, who have a successful reputation and known presence in the South East of England. Experience / Qualifications: * Will be qualified with the BOHS P401 * Track record working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst * Good understanding of UKAS and HSG guidelines * Able to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks * Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills * Strong organisational skills The Role: * Undertaking bulk analysis of ACM samples * Using PLM and stero-microscopy methods * Participating in AIMS schemes * Logging new samples and storing correctly * Updating internal databases with analysis results * Calibrating and maintaining lab equipment * Issuing analysis result certificates to clients * Ensuring to meet or exceed performance targets Alternative job titles: Asbestos Bulk Analyst, Asbestos Analyst.
