We are seeking a Data & Insight Analyst to join our client’s team in Leeds. This role focuses on turning complex data into actionable insight for business decisions across operations, customer experience, and efficiency initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define metrics, build dashboards, and provide strategic recommendations based on robust analyses.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain data models and dashboards that empower decision-makers with timely insights.
* Collaborate with business units to identify data requirements, ensure data integrity, and translate business questions into analytical deliverables.
* Perform advanced analytics (trend analysis, forecasting, root-cause analysis) to uncover opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
* Present findings to stakeholders with clear storytelling, visualizations, and actionable recommendations.
* Establish governance for data quality, lineage, and documentation to support consistent reporting across the organization.
Requirments
* Proven experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles, with a strong track record of delivering impactful insights.
* Advanced proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple stakeholder needs and deliverables.
* Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance best practices.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders
* Experience in energy, utilities, or related sectors is advantageous but not essential
