Contract Type: Ongoing Contract (Outside IR35)

Payment: Limited Company or Umbrella

Rate: £19per hour + Premium Weekend Overtime

E-ppl is a leading provider of Managed Services to the global automotive industry. As a specialist contractor for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), we deliver turn-key solutions ranging from high-profile vehicle launch support to rapid-response quality campaigns.

We are currently seeking skilled Mechanics / Aftersales Technicians to join our Malvern team. You will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer standards through expert diagnosis, repair, and maintenance, preparing them for final sale and providing essential technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Diagnosis & Repair: Troubleshoot and resolve complex faults in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct scheduled servicing and rigorous inspections to guarantee vehicle reliability.
  • Aftersales Support: Provide technical guidance to customers and support the wider team in delivering a premium service experience.
  • Warranty Management: Execute both warranty and non-warranty repairs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise service records and adhere to all regulatory and company requirements.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all tools and workspaces are maintained to a high standard, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.

Requirements

We are looking for methodical, organised professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments. To be successful, you will need:

  • Qualifications: IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Mechanic.
  • Technical Skill: Excellent knowledge of modern motor technology and high manual dexterity.
  • Attributes: Strong concentration, the ability to work to strict deadlines, and a proactive approach to independent work.
  • Equipment: You must possess a comprehensive selection of your own professional tooling.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with customers and collaborate effectively with the team.
