Hours of Work: 37 Per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £34,000 – 38,000

What you will be doing:

We have an excellent opportunity join our supply chain team as Supply Chain Specialist – experience within supply chain isn’t necessary but to succeed in the role you will have a background within account management, commercial relationship management, supply chain, contract management or similar. You will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and improving the supply chain for a wide range of services needed across the dockyard, ensuring suppliers can reliably support operational and business requirements.

You’ll support with contract management, supplier performance tracking, tender activity, and data-driven decision-making to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement. Supporting the implementation of supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, helping to reduce sub-contract spend, streamline transactional workloads, and deliver the best value.

What you will bring:

• 
  
• Experience within an account management, commercial relationship management, supply chain, contract management or similar role

Proven strong stakeholder management experience

Good supplier/customer relationship skills

Commercial awareness

Proven ability to develop effective business partnerships

Basic understanding of Public Sector procurement principles and routes to market.
