Nocturnal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a thriving Ofsted regulated children's home. This is a stable, long-term opportunity to provide strong, visionary leadership that ensures outstanding person-centred childcare for vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a fully compliant Ofsted regulated service, achieving at least \"Good\" with Outstanding as the goal

Provide visionary leadership and coaching to inspire a skilled, engaged workforce

Ensure the highest standards of person-centred childcare with focus on best outcomes for each child

Demonstrate strong safeguarding leadership, promoting an honest and open culture

Maintain full compliance with Health and Safety policies and mandated training targets

Take accountability for financial viability and agreed targets

Establish excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leading on enquiries and business development

Manage the service's out-of-hours on-call rota

What We're Looking For

Current Ofsted registration or ability to obtain full Ofsted registration

Minimum 2 years' experience in residential care of children (within last 5 years)

Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or management role overseeing care staff

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent, or commitment to achieve

Person of integrity and good character with excellent safeguarding awareness

Demonstrated excellence in leadership, management, and people development

Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and manage complex workloads

Proficiency with information and communication technology

Enhanced DBS clearance (or ability to obtain)

Desirable

Track record of achieving Outstanding ratings

Experience in partnership development and business growth
