The successful candidate will work on a broad range of contentious matters, including cross-border litigation, sanctions-related disputes, civil fraud, asset recovery and international enforcement proceedings.This opportunity is ideally suited to a trainee approaching qualification or recently qualified lawyer who has gained experience in commercial litigation and can demonstrate exposure to international, multi-jurisdictional or sanctions-related matters during their training contract.The RoleYou will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on matters including:International and cross-border commercial disputesEconomic sanctions and regulatory mattersCivil fraud and asset tracing claimsShareholder, partnership and contractual disputesEnforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awardsHigh Court litigation and alternative dispute resolutionMatters involving overseas parties, international assets and multiple jurisdictionsCandidate RequirementsNewly Qualified Solicitor or due to qualify shortlyExperience gained in commercial litigation during a training contractExposure to international, cross-border or multi-jurisdictional disputes is essentialExperience of sanctions, regulatory investigations or politically sensitive matters would be highly advantageousExcellent drafting, analytical and research skillsStrong academic backgroundCommercially minded with exceptional attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious NQ solicitor looking to develop a career in commercial litigation while gaining exposure to sophisticated international disputes and sanctions work from the outset.
