HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations. Experience with flatbed lorries is preferred, as well as a background in commercial driving.

Monday - Friday (6:30am - 16:30pm)

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

Requirements

Reference from previous employer.
Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent).
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is advantageous.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and practices.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
Good physical fitness for loading and unloading cargo.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
