Our client is recruiting a Head Chef for their stylish country pub serving all fresh food based close to Chesham & Berkhamstead.This is an opportunity for an exisiting Head Chef or ambitious Sous to take the next step in their career and manage an already popular and busy property. The pub has a field to fork emphasis and uses game and produce sourced from local farms with an in house butchery. The Head Chef will have creative freedom to write seasonal menus. The pub is in the Chiltern Hills so is a popular venue with walkers and visitors all year round.

Head Chef Role
Working closely with the General Manager and Front of House Team
Producing Fresh Cooked Food using seasonal products to AA rosette levels
Use locally sourced meat and game and in house butchery
Manage, Coach, Train and develop the brigade and achieve GP targets
Implement new menu ideas and keep focused on customer trends
Good Communicator & People person
Experience of Fresh Food volume driven fresh kitchen
