Client Manager

Client Manager £45,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) Rugby | Hybrid – (1 day wfh after probation and flexible working on offer) (No sponsorship on offer) Are you a fully qualified Client Manager looking to join a firm that values its people, offers real ownership of your client portfolio, and supports your ongoing progression? This is an opportunity to step into a Client Manager role within an established accountancy practice, taking ownership of your clients while supporting and developing a wider team. You’ll be working with experienced colleagues across accounts and tax, with regular exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to build strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities * Managing your own portfolio of clients with minimal Partner oversight * Acting as the main point of contact for clients * Leading client meetings, including onboarding and review meetings * Reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements * Reviewing corporate and personal tax returns * Supporting routine tax planning work * Ensuring all work is delivered accurately and within deadlines * Managing workflow across your portfolio and overseeing team delivery * Delegating and reviewing work to support junior team members * Identifying opportunities for additional work with existing clients * Providing commercially focused support to clients What do we want to know about you? * ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) * Strong experience within an accountancy practice * Proven experience managing a client portfolio * Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance * Confident reviewing work and managing client relationships * Strong organisational and workflow management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Commercial awareness and a proactive approach If you’re ready for a role that offers real ownership and clear progression, we’d love to hear from you
