We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Braintree that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join their successful Languages department. The school is dedicated to delivering high-quality language education and encouraging students to become confident communicators with a broader understanding of the world around them.
Job Overview:
Full-time, Monday - Friday MFL Teacher role.
Teach Modern Foreign Languages across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons that inspire a love of languages.
Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
Monitor, assess and track student progress to ensure strong outcomes.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners can thrive.
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Languages department and wider school team.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, including language clubs, trips and cultural events.This Head of MFL role in Braintree offers the opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school with a strong focus on professional development and career progression. What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
Experience teaching French, Spanish, or another modern foreign language at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
A proactive, positive and collaborative approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).What's Next?
