Were looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a growing Platform Engineering team within a fast-paced, technology-led organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative engineering environment focused on innovation, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Youll play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting secure, highly available cloud infrastructure while helping shape engineering best practices across the business.
The role offers a hybrid working model, with regular office collaboration expected in Durham.

What Youll Be Doing:
Collaborating on the design and implementation of secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-optimised cloud infrastructure
Deploying and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
Monitoring and maintaining platform availability and operational performance
Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment using Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across tooling, processes, and delivery practices
What Were Looking For:
Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, YAML, and ARM templates
Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments
Experience using Azure DevOps and working within Cloud Adoption Framework principles
Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerised services, and Helm chart management
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset
Desirable Experience:
Using AI-powered tools to improve development productivity and engineering workflows
Cost optimisation and FinOps best practices
Exposure to C# .NET environments
Scripting xwzovoh experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Bicep
Linux administration experience, particularly Ubuntu
Understanding of observability and monitoring platforms
Awareness of business continuity and resilience principles
