We are looking for a talented commercially focused Senior Building Surveyor to join the practice. The opportunity offers a diverse workload with a hybrid working week of three days in the office and two working from home.   We are looking for a confident forward-thinking professional to complement the group. You the successful Senior Building Surveyor will come from a proven commercial background and have experience in delivering accurate advice across the professional and project disciplines.   The position has arisen due to an increase in workload, my client has a strong pipeline of work going well into 2026. Assisting directors and associated with larger scale projects from £1M to £10M+. Liaising with and managing an external multidisciplinary design team Preparation of specifications and a detailed understanding of various types of construction to assist our architectural team A robust understanding of the main JCT forms of contract, particularly D&B and a good knowledge of CA and EA roles. Building survey/ pre-acquisition survey experience of commercial and residential property. A working knowledge and experience of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, preparing and serving, notices and awards under the Act; A working knowledge of Landlord and Tenant issues, the Dilapidation Protocol including preparing and serving schedules and settlement negotiations; Submission of statutory applications.
