Facade Designer

We are working in partnership with a leading Main Contractor who specialise in the delivery of complex recladding and façade remediation schemes across high-rise residential buildings. Due to a strong pipeline of secured projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Facade Designer to join their growing technical team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical building safety upgrades, contributing to projects that have a real impact on residents and communities. The Role As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and technical development of façade systems across multiple recladding projects. You will work closely with internal delivery teams, consultants, and specialist subcontractors to ensure compliant, buildable, and cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed façade design packages for recladding schemes Coordinate with architects, fire engineers, and external consultants Ensure compliance with current building regulations, including fire safety standards Review subcontractor designs and technical submissions Provide design support to site and project delivery teams Attend design team meetings and contribute to value engineering exercisesRequirements Proven experience in façade design, ideally within recladding or remediation projects Familiarity with UK Building Regulations and post-Grenfell compliance requirements Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholdersWhat's on Offer Opportunity to work on high-profile, safety-critical projects Stable pipeline of long-term work Competitive salary and benefits packageBuilding Careers UK are specialist in Construction and Property recruitment.
