High earning, specialist driving role with full training
We are hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers / Drainage Engineers to join our expanding team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving, specialist vehicle operation, and drainage response work. Full training is provided for candidates with the right attitude and driving experience.
What you will get: £36,660 basic salary
Overtime paid at £21.15 per hour
Night shift bonus: £45 per shift
Call-out payments (up to £45 per callout)
Typical monthly earnings: £3,000£5,000+ with overtime

Working pattern Monday to Friday: 6:00am 4:00pm (core hours)
Regular overtime available (evenings, nights, weekends)
Call-out rota for emergency response work
Structured rest periods included within working pattern
What you will be doing Operating specialist vehicles (jetting tankers, vacuum tankers, combination units)
Responding to drainage emergencies and blockages
Supporting flood and pollution response work
Completing vehicle checks and safety inspections
Working safely on public and private sites
Maintaining accurate job records
What we are looking for Valid HGV Class 2 licence + CPC
Professional and reliable attitude
Comfortable working in a varied, hands-on role
Able to work independently and respond to callouts
Desirable (not essential): Drainage, utilities or waste industry experience
High-pressure jetting experience
Streetworks or water hygiene qualifications
