We are working with a highly respected and growing accountancy practice based in North London who are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior.
The role offers a genuine 50/50 split between audit and accounts, providing broad exposure across a diverse portfolio of clients, from SMEs through to larger businesses with turnovers reaching £120m. Majority of the firm's client are within the construction sector, however you will also gain exposure to other industries. Youll be working within a supportive team environment with direct access to managers and partners, giving you excellent scope to develop your technical skills and progress your career.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead audits from planning through to completion for a range of clients
Prepare statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP
Work closely with clients in the construction sector and related industries
Identify key audit risks and ensure appropriate testing is carried out
Supervise and support junior team members on assignments
Liaise with managers and partners on technical and client matters
Assist with ad-hoc assignments and project work as required
Qualifications and Skills:
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
Strong experience across both audit and accounts within a UK accountancy firm
Good working knowledge of UK GAAP
Experience managing audit xwzovoh assignments and liaising directly with clients
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage workload effectively across multiple assignments
Experience with construction clients is highly advantageous
