Birmingham / Sheffield (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
£600£650 per day (Inside IR35)
The Role Were supporting a Tier 1 bank within their Chief Technology Office to deliver a large-scale capacity management control rollout across their technology estate.
This is a high-impact role focused on driving adoption, engaging stakeholders, and embedding best practice across hundreds of applications and engineering teams.
Youll operate at the intersection of technology, risk & control, and programme delivery, working closely with engineers, application owners, and senior stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of capacity management standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the rollout of capacity management controls across a large technology estate
Working with engineering teams and application owners to explain requirements and support assessments
Driving adoption and consistency across multiple teams and platforms
Facilitating workshops, communities of practice, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Creating clear communication materials (guidance, playbooks, training content)
Managing stakeholder engagement and influencing teams to meet delivery targets
Supporting governance, reporting, and tracking of progress across applications
Acting as a bridge between technical teams and control/governance stakeholders
Key Requirements Strong experience in technology delivery, programme leadership, or change roles within complex environments
Solid understanding of capacity management, performance, or SRE concepts
Proven ability xwzovoh to engage, influence, and drive outcomes across multiple teams
Experience working within governance, risk, or control frameworks
Strong communication skills comfortable delivering workshops, training, and stakeholder updates
Ability to operate in fast-paced environments and manage competing priorities
Nice to Have Exposure to observability or performance tools (e.g. Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience in financial services or regulated environments
Background in testing, UAT, or quality engineering
