Catastrophic Injury Associate / Senior Associate (Claimant) – London (Hybrid) / RemoteSenior level (6+ PQE guide) | Salary up to £95,000 + excellent bonus & benefits

 

A specialist claimant Serious Injury practice is recruiting an experienced lawyer to join its growing team, with the option of being based from a new London office (hybrid) or working fully remote from elsewhere in the UK. The role offers genuine autonomy, sensible caseloads and the support of a multi-disciplinary setup focused on long-term client outcomes.

 

The role

 

You will take day-to-day ownership of complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims and drive strategy across the lifecycle of each case. Duties will include:

 

 

 

•

• Leading serious injury matters from early liability investigations through to settlement and, where required, litigation

\t

Setting case strategy on liability, causation and quantum, including evidence planning and expert selection

\t

Managing rehabilitation and interim funding strategy to support clients and families at the earliest stage

\t

Instructing and working closely with medical experts, counsel, case managers, care/OT experts and financial advisers

\t

Drafting key documents including pleadings, schedules, witness evidence and settlement materials

\t

Building strong client relationships and delivering an exceptional client care experience

\t

You’ll be supported by, and supervise/coach, a qualified solicitor on your caseload, alongside a paralegal who will assist with day-to-day administration and file management. xwzovoh

 

What you’ll need

 

 

 

• 
  \t
• Qualified solicitor or legal executive (or equivalent), operating at Associate/Senior Associate level in claimant serious injury

\t

Proven track record running high-value catastrophic injury files with complex liability and quantum issues

\t

Strong litigation experience and confident working knowledge of court procedure and case management

\t

Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills

\t

A client-first approach and the credibility to represent the practice externally within the serious injury sector

\t

Experience mentoring or developing junior colleagues is beneficial

Occasional travel for key client commitments, mediations, conferences or team collaboration (role dependent)
